Take a look at our pittens (kittens) raised by Trixie a Havanese.
These kittens were malnourished, filthy and abandoned when I got
them. After 1 day bottle feeding, Trixie took over and began raising
them like her own. She even developed milk.

We wish TJ, shepherd a quick recovery from her illness. We hear she is
doing better.  Shiloh one of our silvers who lives nearby now has a new
girlfriend to carry on the line.
Havanese parents have been CERFed

news about the
FarmFarm News
At Excalibur Farms we began raising Arabian and Pinto Arabian horses in 1985. My own injuries keep me from riding
horses now. In 1994 we started raising German Shepherds all due to one dog, Merlyn.  After several different small
dog breeds that we kept for family pets, we discovered Havanese. What a difference this breed proved to be from our
previous lap monsters. We know have bred our 5th generation Havanese puppies. The shepherds try, but they really
are too big to make a comfortable lap fit especially when ours are such big dogs. Havanese love us, our shepherds and
everyone else as well. They are a lot of fun and after having one I never want another type. Havanese are special and
have become a permanent part of our lives. You can click through the links below and see more about our Havanese,
German Shepherds and even some of the horses and the things we have done over the years. We started raising the
Havanese over 7 years ago and still love them.  We plan to add some help and health related pages. Enjoy the site, but
understand it is still under construction and sometimes takes me awhile to update with all the things going on around
here. (7-
9-09)  Since the site has been moved we are still correcting photos and links please bear with us as we fix the
problems.

Thank you one and all
for helping us win
this award.
Piper  as a puppy says come on back, we'll
be here waiting to be cute and full of attitude.
Piper has won over many who have never
heard or seen a Havanese.  He is without a
doubt a true Lap Monster and totally spoiled
even by our vets at Ennis Vet Clinic. The
creepy as he is affectionately known never
slows down or grows up.  See more photos of
Piper all grown up on his page.
